Paris Color Class 2020

Join me in Paris for an intense three weeks of studying observational color at Studio Escalier. This is one of the highlights of my year, and I strive to make it an excellent experience for my students as well. We will be working with a model in an historic natural light studio (once used by none other than Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and in the same building where Suzanne Valadon lived!) In addition I will offer weekly art historical lectures on the subject of color throughout the ages. Students in this class receive “treasure hunt” handouts with my detailed notes on points of interest relating to color in the museums, monuments, and public parks of Paris and the surrounding region. We also typically take one group field trip to a museum or monument that has an important role in the history of color in European art (location TBD). Please feel free to get in touch with any questions. For more information or to register please go to this link: Paris Color 2020

Everyone is welcome in this class, from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals.
